One might think that Archos would call it a day after announcing a pair of super-affordable Honeycomb tablets, but no, not them. Rather, they still had another two Android devices up their sleeves, the ARCHOS 35 Home Connect and the ARCHOS 35 Smart Home Phone.
The ARCHOS 35 Home Connect is a cute little Wi-Fi device that designed for streaming music providing news and weather, games and more. Place one of these beauties in your kitchen or living room and play music through the high-definitions speakers or set it on the nightstand and use the alarm clock. You can also make and receive video calls using the front-facing camera. Play a ton of games, whatever. We’re not going to tell you what to do with it, that’s entirely up to you. Expect to be see these in September with a ballpark price of $149.
The Android-based DECT phone ARCHOS 35 Smart Home Phone makes it cool to own a home phone again. With a reasonable $159 price tag, this guy brings a bunch of your favorite Android features to your landline, including MP3 ringtones, photo caller ID, internet, email, and, of course, thousands of apps. Just remember to leave it at home. Look for the ARCHOS 35 Smart Home Phone in September as well.
