A newly leaked storyboard/commercial treatment tells us that the upcoming Droid Maxx will have 48 hours of “worry-free” battery life. Yeah, that sounds crazy right? According to AndroidCentral this will be one of Verizon’s next commercials after the device is actually announced.
Google’s Larry Page (and others) have been long talking about how today’s smartphones could do much better in terms of battery life. Heck, as nice as the Droid Razr Maxx HD is, it’s only offers 32 hours off of a single charge. In all seriousness, we don’t even know what we’d do with two days of battery.
Regardless of what the internal hardware is, the Droid Maxx angle will be all about the battery life — and rightfully so.
